T8 LED Tubes 90 cm (3ft)

A 90 cm (3ft) LED tube replaces the 30W fluorescent tube, a length often found in kitchens, corridors, stairwells, offices and shop fittings. Our T8 tubes (G13 cap) use 14W and deliver 1,680 to 1,960 lumens. They light up instantly, do not flicker and are available in 3000K, 4000K and 6000K. No fitting yet? The 90 cm LED tube fitting is also available with a plug.

Which 90 cm LED tube should you choose?

All tubes have the same length and cap; the difference is how much light you get per watt.

  • 120 lm/W, 1,680 lumens: the most affordable replacement for a 30W fluorescent tube, in 3000K, 4000K and 6000K.
  • 140 lm/W, 1,960 lumens: more light for the same 14W consumption, in 3000K, 4000K and 6000K.
  • Smart RGB tube: control colour and brightness over WiFi from your phone, for hospitality, shops and mood lighting.

Frequently asked questions about 90 cm LED tubes

Will a 90 cm LED tube fit my old fluorescent fitting?

Yes, if it is a T8 fitting with G13 lampholders (tube diameter 26 mm) for a 90 cm tube (exactly 895 mm). If your fitting has a magnetic ballast with a starter, replace the old starter with an LED starter and fit the LED tube. If it has an electronic (HF) ballast, the ballast must be removed or bypassed and the tube wired directly to 230V. LED tube installation guide

What wattage does a 90 cm LED tube replace?

A 14W LED tube replaces a 30W fluorescent tube. Because a fluorescent fitting with ballast also consumes power itself, the real saving is 50 to 60 percent.

Is there a fitting with a plug?

Yes. The 90 cm LED tube fitting is also available as plug & play with an EU plug: insert the tube and plug it in. Handy under kitchen cabinets, in a workroom or in a shed without a fixed light point.

How do I connect an LED tube?

Our tubes are single-end powered: live and neutral connect at one end of the tube, the other end is not connected. They work on 100 to 240V. In an LED tube fitting this is already wired correctly.

What is the difference between T8 and T5?

T8 has a 26 mm diameter and a G13 cap; T5 is 16 mm thick with a G5 cap and different lengths. A T8 tube does not fit a T5 fitting. If you have a T5 fitting, see our T5 LED tubes.

How long does an LED tube last?

They are designed for 50,000 operating hours, which is more than 13 years at 10 hours a day. All tubes come with a 5-year warranty.

Do you supply for projects?

Yes. Volume pricing applies to larger quantities and business customers can buy on invoice. Request a quote and we will be happy to work out the numbers with you.
