This 12 mm RGB+CCT Hippo corner connector is designed for that layout. It joins two 6-pin strip sections around a corner without soldering.

Key features

6-pin: for RGB plus warm and cool white.

12 mm strip width: for compatible RGB+CCT strips.

Hippo clamping system: secures the strip with a hinged lid.

24V, maximum 5A: specified rating.

FPC with copper: flexible printed circuit as the connection material.

IP20: for dry indoor installations.

Route an RGB+CCT light run around a corner

In a living room with an illuminated cabinet wall, RGB+CCT lighting may run along two perpendicular surfaces. The connector keeps both colour control and warm- and cool-white channels connected. There is no need to solder all six contacts individually.

Why a 6-pin connector?

A 4-pin RGB connector does not support separate white channels. A 5-pin RGBW connector has just one white channel. RGB+CCT with warm and cool white therefore needs the six connections on this model. The strip must also be 12 mm wide.
